Google LLC is an American multinational technology company specializing in Internet-related products and services, which include online advertising technologies, a search engine, cloud computing, software, and hardware. It is considered one of the Big Five of the US IT industry, along with Amazon, Facebook (Meta), Apple, and Microsoft.
Google was founded on September 4, 1998, by Larry Page and Sergey Brin while they were doctoral students. students at Stanford University in California.
